Delicious food, family friendly atmosphere, and courteous staff. Their fresh salad bar and the variety of buffets they offer are always good. They are prepared to accommodate any size of family or group ! I highly recommend the Lake Cafe in Big Lake, MN.

I had my mom's memorial here. They gave me a 60 person capacity room and a full buffet and salad bar for 3 hours at a VERY reasonable price. The owner Tim was super nice and incredibly accommodating. Our server April gave us impeccable service. I live an hour away but I will definitely be going back. My mom's memorial was beautiful and stress free. Highly recommended!
I think with few options in Big Lake, they’ve been able to make subpar food and charge $10-13 a head, and get away with it. They need to step up their dinner game, at least.
We went here for dinner and spent over $100 for 5 people and 3 kids. Not that it’s expensive, but there are better places for less in Big Lake. Super friendly staff, but I can’t recommend this place for the money.
I really enjoy this place, but they recently went under new management. They are still really good, but they dont have many vegetarian options. I would recommend upgrading to salad bar. Its worth it!

Went there and had the Friday night buffet. It was good. Good comfort foods - Au gratin taters, Mac and cheese, fried fish, and popovers. I liked it and we don't have to drive a long way to get there.
